Index Plungers

Index plungers are locking elements with a bolt, the so-called plunger pin or locking pin. Index plungers are often also referred to as locking plunger. They can be used in a wide range of industrial sectors for many applications, including positioning, fixing.

It is operated manually via a pull-knob or pull-ring.

The extensive product range includes various versions from stock:

• Different constructions (Mini Indexes, compact construction, with mounting flange, for thin-walled pieces, weldable
• Different knob versions (knob, T-handle, pull-ring)
• Several materials to select from (stainless steel 1.4305, zinc die-cast, steel blackened, steel galvanized)
• Precision index plungers - precise design with conical or cylindrical bolts/bushings
• Index plungers with release lock - design with actuation lock
• Index plungers with rapid locking head - design with knob for quick locking (bolt jumps into locking position when pressed)

Index Bolts

Index bolts are also locking elements with a bolt, the so-called plunger pin or locking pin. Index bolts are often also referred to as locking bolt, spring bolt or locking latch. They can be used in a wide range of industrial sectors for many applications, including for height adjustment, connection of components,  positioning.

In difference to the index plunger the operation is not done by pulling the knob or ring but by turning the bolt.
